Boyfriend to Make a Splash in Japan, Showcase with 10,000 on June

Boyfriend is to advance into Japan in June.

The 6 member group Boyfriend who enjoyed high popularity with ‘Don’t Touch My Girl’ and ‘I’ll Be There’ last year is now planning to make a splash in the Japanese market.

The group is to release a special album on June 6 in Japan followed by a first showcase at Budokan on June 30 with 10,000 people. This is unprecedented as a rookie to secure the venue that is considered as a dream for most Japanese artists.

Starship Entertainment representative shared, “After the debut we have received a lot contact from many Japanese agencies. However at the end we decided to work with Bing to form a great synergy with them.”

Boyfriend’s Japanese agency Bing is also sure of the group’s success in the Japanese music market with the boy’s handsome looks with modern music color.

This has been reported widely in Korea as the Japanese agency is one of the largest agencies that manage Japanese stars like B’z, ZARD and Kuraki Mai.
