"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" might feature legendary actor and director Robert Redford, who plays top-ranking SHIELD officer Alexander Pierce, working as a double agent for Hydra, rumors about the new film claimed.

According to Unleashthefanboy.com, Hydra's tentacles is growing by the minute as it appears that Robert Redford is not the only SHIELD agent who might be working as a double agent. There's also Agent Sitwell, who replaced Agent Coulson who died in "The Avengers."

Now, every comic fan knows that Hydra is the creation of Red Skull out of Hitler's supernatural division. Does that mean that Captain America's arch-nemesis isn't too far behind?

It's not clear whether Hydra is behind the Winter Soldier, but the website claimed that if it's true then it's a huge departure from the comics which points at the Russians as the primary villains in the story arc rather than the Nazis.

Meanwhile, a new trailer for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" will debut on the Super Bowl XLVIII which will air at 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 2 on FOX Network, at least according to journalist Marc Graser in his January 21 tweet: "#Marvel to show a new trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier during Super Bowl."

Marc Graser is actually a senior editor at Variety magazine so there's some credibility there.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is scheduled to be released on April 14, 2014 and yet the producers have scheduled some reshoots recently which further fanned the rumors that there's trouble on the set caused by lead Chris Evans. It should be noted, however, that reshoots for blockbuster films with very large budget are not too uncommon.

Rumors have spun out of control suggesting that Chris Evans, who signed on to do six films, will be replaced after "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

In the Winter Soldier movie, Bucky whom Captain America thought to be dead was actually alive and brainwashed by the Soviets to become a formidable foe for "America's greatest patriot."
