Sean Penn and Charlize Theron dating relationship is getting serious as the actors looked quite comfortable while taking out two-year-old Jackson to lunch on Tuesday.

The "Gangster Squad" actor looked very comfortable carrying the "Monster" star's son, in a series of pictures posted on Daily Mail.

Sean Penn and Charlize Theron were also spotted doing some grocery shopping in West Hollywood Whole Foods. While mommy is getting some supplies, Sean Penn was making faces at Jackson who was riding the grocery cart, according to E! News.

Both Sean Penn, 53, and Charlize Theron, 38, also found time to date however as they were snapped holding hands last Sunday in a romantic weekend getaway in California's Bay Area.

Sean Penn confirmed his relationship with Charlize Theron to talk show host and talent judge, Piers Morgan, during the Help Haiti Home charity gala on January 1.

According to Morgan in his column at the Daily Mail's Event magazine, that he walked over to the table where Sean Penn and Charlize Theron were sitting.

"'I'm so glad you two have got together,' I said, 'Sean's a great guy,'" he wrote.

Morgan then narrated that he bumped into Sean Penn later than night.

"At 2 a.m., Sean came over, and bear-hugged me. 'Congrats on a great night,' I said. 'And congrats on Charlize too.' He laughed. 'She's a keeper, that's for sure . . . well, I'll do my best to keep her anyway!'" he wrote.

During the same charity event, Sean Penn also cited Charlize Theron's positive influence in his life, according to Us Magazine.

"I'm a self-proclaimed Alpha male who owns 67 firearms. But I've had my mind changed about guns by a strong woman, a beautiful South African woman. I don't need these cowardly instruments of violence and destruction, none of us do," he told the audience in a speech.

Although they have been rumored to be dating since 2010, the rumors only grew wilder when Charlize Theron and Sean Penn were spotted vacationing in Hawaii during the Christmas holiday.
