A very sad news was reported recently. Tiger JK's father has passed away.

Tiger JK posted a message on his Twitter today, February 1, "My father left , he said life is loving and thank you all." One of the representatives of his agency, Feel Ghood Music stated, "Tiger JK's father Seo Byung Hoo (72), who was fighting cancer, passed away at his home in Uijeongbu today at about 4 PM KST... Tiger JK and his wife Yoon Mi Rae watched over him during his final hours."

It was a very difficult and sad time for Tiger JK, who previously shared that his inspiration for his album 'The Cure' came from his beloved father who from then was struggling from stomach cancer. Seo Byung Hoo is one of the founding members of the Korean Popular Music Critics Association and also was known as the first pop columnist.

Tiger JK's father wake is held at Korea Cancer Center Hospital located at Nowon, Seoul and the funeral will be on February 3rd at 9:30 AM Korean Time.
