Friends Reunion 2014: Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox Are Still Best Friends Forever; So Why Not Do a Friends Reunion Every Thanksgiving?

Friends Reunion 2014: Now that the "Seinfeld" cast reunited for a Super Bowl ad, rumors are circulating that a Friends reunion might be in the works for 2014. So far all this Friends reunion talk is just speculation. The cast of Friends is still waiting for word from Jennifer Aniston. Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston wouldn't need a show for a reunion. They've never parted.

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox developed a strong friendship during their stint in the popular sitcom. Since then, Jennifer Aniston has gone through a painful divorce with husband Brad Pitt in 2005, and Courteney Cox got separated from David Arquette after a 14-year long marriage.

Courteney Cox says her ex-husband had a perfect strategy for a "Friends" reunion, whether she brought that up to Jennifer Aniston is anyone's guess. Courteney said David Arquette used to have a great idea and he said, 'What if you guys do an episode of Friends every Thanksgiving. Just come back for that one week to say what is everyone doing in the last year. And we didn't listen, we didn't do it, so now it's too late."

Matthew Perry, who played Courteney's on-screen husband in Friends and who is now working her new show Cougar Town, said "We're so comfortable. The only difficulty was to remind ourselves that we don't know each other, in this episode. We're strangers that meet. I lose my insurance, my car insurance, because I'm not that bright, and I end up hitting his car and then I have to flirt my way out of it and hope that he won't ... claim it, because I can't pay it."

Jennifer Aniston may be the last holdout to a reunion of the hugely popular sitcom "Friends," but she's never really been apart from her best friend Courteney Cox.

"Friends" star Jennifer Aniston, says she's had a close friendship with Courteney Cox since "Friends" ended in 2004.

Jennifer told More Magazine "There's absolutely no judgment in Court. You'll never feel scolded. She's extremely fair, ridiculously loyal and fiercely loving."

During the headline grabbing divorce with Brad Pitt and all that business with Angelina Jolie, Aniston found comfort with Cox. Jennifer said "I've slept in her guest bedroom a lot. Without giving away too much of my private stuff, all I can say is she's been there for me through thick and thin."

But Jennifer has no interest in a full "Friends" reunion. Last May Aniston recently told the audience on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "Doing that little bit with Matty and Court yesterday was... We were very nostalgic and miss working together."

Jennifer Aniston is the last holdout to a "Friends" reunion in 2014. "Friends" producers are trying to convince actress Jennifer Aniston to join a reunion. Matt LeBlanc starred in a spin-off about his Joey character, but it was short-lived.

A source told OK! magazine "Since the show ended in 2004 it's been rare for all six of them to appear in public together. But with next year's 20th anniversary (of the show's launch) it will be unavoidable for them to do something together. It's the perfect excuse to talk seriously about a new project. It's no secret the whole project will be pinned on Jennifer, who's incredibly busy with her movie career. But she's been slowly convinced that a reunion could be a good thing."
