Why Singers Risk Their Lives To Complete Their Schedules

"Every day my life was in danger."

A 20-year veteran singer appeared on an entertainment program and confessed to this shocking comment about deathly schedules. Many celebrities work until their health lives are flagged red and their lives are in danger, all because of their excessive schedules. However, they become more popular because it's what helps them maintain the spotlight.

Idol singers are so busy they take short naps throughout the day. Some actors don't have a moment to rest their eyes because of their drama shooting, movie shooting, photo shoots, and other schedules overlapping. These kinds of deathly schedules have led to many celebrities getting injured, and their schedules don't show any signs of mercy.

In 2004 the group Wanted and TVXQ finished their Busan concert and were headed to Gyeongpodae for another concert. They both got into auto accidents within 20 minutes of each other. Wanted member Suh Jae Ho died in this tragic accident, causing shock among fans everywhere.

In 2006 there was another auto accident on the way to a scheduled event. Comedian Shim Jin Hwa, Jang Kyung Hee, and Kim Hyun Eun were in a car that skidded across the icy road and hit the median and guardrail. Kim Hyung Eun was seriously injured, and later breathed his last.

Still there are others who have to go through their jam-packed schedules on excessive diets. This type of behavior often leads to poor health. In 2010 f(x) member Krystal collapsed while performing at the Seoul Olympic Gymnasium in a concert. In 2011 Dal Shabet's Subin fainted during a concert at a university and had to be escorted out by a staff member. These two fainted because they were being overworked with their deathly schedules.

Recently Girl's Day Hyeri completed her live performance and fainted on the spot, surprising everyone. Hyeri, despite having a terrible body aching cold, did her best on stage to put on a performance. Her actions elicited pity from the public.

Actors are just as busy. While they're filming a drama, there are many times when they'll work all night long. Some actors have to deal with movie shootings simultaneously, which make for a truly murderous schedule.

In 2002 Shinhwa's Kim Dong Wan was on his way to filming a drama when his car collided with a track. Kim Dong Wan was seriously injured, and his coordinator who was riding in the car with him was killed in the accident.

In 2009 Kim Bum was on his way to film "Boys Over Flowers" when he got into a car accident. He was hit from behind at a toll booth. He went to the hospital and found out he was not injured badly. He then headed over to the set after receiving this diagnosis.

However, just a few days later, Kim Bum was on his way home after an overnight filming. His manager, who was driving at the time, dozed off and hit the guardrail. Kim Bum injured his toe in the process, for which he received surgery and physical therapy.

If there are no actors, then it leads to a broadcast problem. That's why actors will still film even though they are injured. They have to have a fighting spirit through their injury.

In 2011 Lee Min Ho got into a big car accident while filming the drama "City Hunter." However he still appeared on set the next day to film. Lee Min Ho must have suffered from the after effects, because he was seen massaging his lower back throughout filming. This image was captured on camera by an entertainment program, and fans were sympathetic for the actor.

Jang Keun Suk showed a fighting spirit despite an injury as well. In 2012 after he completed filming for a drama, he was involved in a car accident that left his car wrecked. Fortunately he wasn't injured too badly. However, even before he was completely healed, he had to film again.

Tiny G's Dohee, who recently completed filming "Respond 1994," juggled her acting and singing careers, and suffered from a serious body ache cold. She became more popular after her drama appearance, and Dohee received calls left and right to appear in various entertainment programs, radio shows, and advertisements, and it seems as if it took a toll on her party. She was even seen on KBS2's "Gag Concert" wearing a cast on her arm, eliciting sympathy from the audience.
