Hypnotist and SciFi Writer Collaborate on Story Readers Can Control With Their Minds; Quantum Voyeur Hits the Net as Episodic Nove

A hypnotist and a science fiction writer are collaborating on a time travel story that readers can control.

Hypnotherapist and documentary filmmaker Elena Beloff and veteran science fiction writer John Zakour announced that they are collaborating on the reader-led online science fiction novel Quantum Voyeur. The series is a Sci Fi exploration of guided time travel in the distant future using the main character Alana Tuman as the avatar and host for the minds of the time tourists she brings along with her.

The collaboration will ultimately be a sci fi novella by the end of 2014, but readers can guide the story now online. The episodic series is available on Serealites.

Sci fi writer John Zakour and trained hypnotist Elena Beloff will write and post a new installment every week until the 20 episodes run their course.  Readers vote to influence the story at the end of every episode. Quantum Voyeur is in its third week. There are 17 more to come.

Quantum Voyeur isn't Zakour's first collaboration. John wrote "The Plutonium Blonde," "The Doomsday Brunette," "The Radioactive Redhead" and "The Peach Blonde Bomber" with Larry Ganem. He wrote "Illusia" in 2008 with Elizabeth Keller.

Beloff and Zakour have known each for eight years since the novelist went to her for hypnosis.

Elena Beloff is a Certified Clinical Hypnotist and Master NLP Practitioner and a filmmaker, whose first film, "Zaritsas: Russian Women in New York," was produced by Vincent D'Onofrio  and shown at film festivals around the country. She just finished shooting a documentary on hypnosis. She is also writing a book on hypnosis with John Zakour.

John Zakour wrote the short stories "Dog Gone," "Double Trouble," "Modern Mating as well as the sexy science fiction novels "The Frost Haired Vixen," "The Blue Haired Bombshell" and "The Sapphire Sirens."  Zakour wrote for the Rugrats comics and for the comic books "The Simpsons," "Fairly Odd Parents," "Jimmy Neutron" and "Rugrats All Grown Up."
