The Heirs will once again be the focal point of a parody, as EXO's Tao and Luhan become Cha Eun Sang and Kim Tan for the February 13 episode of EXO's Showtime. Luhan will have the opportunity to display a different side of himself as he portrays the role of Kim Tan, while Tao will transform into Cha Eun Sang. In response to the upcoming episode, Luhan stated, "I regret that I haven't been able to show my manly side on EXO's Showtime." Luhan and Tao will reenact many of the famous scenes from The Heirs, including Kim Tan's initial confession to Cha Eun Sang.

In the past, EXO's Luhan has expressed his love for The Heirs which should make his participation in the parody even more special. The Heirs has spawned many parodies since the drama concluded in December. YG Entertainment's Winner most recently performed a parody of the teen drama for WINNER TV, in order to display their acting talent. The Heirs was also incorporated into the theme for 2013 SBS Gayo Daejun, which featured balladeer K.Will as Kim Tan. EXO participated in the 2013 SBS Gayo Daejun parody, however, members of the group were not the main characters. EXO's Showtime airs on MBC Every1, with the parody episode taking place on February 13.
