‘Jack the Ripper’ musical featuring Super Junior’s Sungmin plans to land in Japan.

Japan important media Sankai reported on the morning of May 2 JST, “It’s been decided Korea’s popular music ‘Jack the Ripper’ will land in Japan on September and October and will be performed at Tokyo Aoyama Theatre.

‘Jack the Ripper’ is the hit musical that is on its third run since its premiere in 2009 in Korea. The piece is based on an unidentified serial killer of female prostitutes in London during the late 19th century.

The performance in Japan will feature Super Junior’s Sungmin and Ahn Jaewook for the role as surgeon Daniel, singer-actor Shin Sungwoo will play Jack the Ripper.

The musical ‘Jack the Ripper’ last year garnered large interest in Japan headed by hallyu star Sungmin, Ahn Jaewook the musical included Japanese subtitles.
