Lee Min Ho appeared on a special for CCTV's 'Spring Festival Gala' and hit the highest viewer ratings.

On February 11, his agency stated, "On January 30, Lee Min Ho appeared on China CCTV 'Spring Festival Gala' and sang the theme song for the drama, 'Boys over Flowers' and hit a 9.65% viewer rating. This program airs on 202 channels, showing its major popularity."

On the day of the broadcast, the CCTV site began having more visitors as the time for the program became closer.

Weibo and other portal sites began having Lee Min Ho's name pop up, as well as video sites.

Lee Min Ho was also the first Korean celebrity to attend this special.

Lee Min Ho commented that he was truly honored to be apart of the show.
