Last night Korean pop singer Kim Hyun Joong kicked off his first show of ‘2012 Asia Fan Meeting Tour’ in Singapore.

The two hour long show at Singapore Indoor Stadium drew in 3,000 fans. Some had even flown as far as Japan including Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.

The highlight of the show was ‘high five’ event. Originally event organizer ‘Running Into The Sun’ planned to select 500 fans from the audience for Kim to high-five, however the singer insisted on high-fiving everyone.

Kim Hyun Joong told The Associated Press on Thursday that he’s confident security won’t be an issue. “I know it’s not going be easy and I hope that even if it is a really short moment of high-five, the fans would know how much I appreciate their effort and support,” he said.

Several fan cams of last night show uploaded on YouTube revealed Kim Hyun Joong smiling and shaking hands with all his fans.

Kim Hyun Joong will continue on his fan meeting at Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Thailand.
