Grand Theft Auto 5 online will launch a Valentines Day special download, leaving many gamers wondering if Rockstar Games would consider doing the same next year for its PC release date version.

Gamers will be able to get their hands on the Gusenberg Sweeper, a tommy gun, from any Ammu-Nation location in GTA Online, the Latin Post reports.

The gun will be automatically available in each character's weapon inventory with two magazines, the Latin Post also reports.

Take-Two Interactive chief executive officer Strauss Zelnick confirmed that his company will "absolutely" release GTA 5's PC version and on next-generation consoles if the consumer demand is deemed sufficient, Examiner.com reports.

"If that is where consumers are, absolutely [we'll release our game on that]. But we wouldn't drive them there, we would just be there if they are there," he said, according to the site.

"That is why we have a companion app for our basketball title, NBA 2K Everywhere. It is wherever consumers want to be. We are not in the hardware business, we don't have any dog in that hut, we just want to be where the consumer is."

Grand Theft Auto 5's PC release date version may support the ability to legally modify the game, Examiner.com also reports.

Nordic retailer Elgiganten claims Grand Theft Auto 5's PC version will be available for pre-order on January 31, leaving gamers wondering if the petition to create a computer version of the game worked.

A petition on change.org asking Rockstar Games to make an announcement release the game has surpassed 600,000 signatures.
