Now that Diancie has been revealed to the public, its upcoming distribution for Pokemon X and Y has been confirmed as well!

"Diancie is an extremely rare Pokémon, created when Carbink undergoes a strange mutation. Its glittering pink body is said to be the most beautiful sight in the world," says the official Pokemon X and Y website.

"Diancie can create diamonds out of thin air by compressing the carbon in the atmosphere with its hands. It uses these jewels in battle to attack enemies and protect itself. Stay tuned for more information on how to get Diancie!"

And although Diancie will inevitably have its own distribution event, details on how and when are still secret.

However, it is likely that this distribution will be in conjunction with the upcoming release of the Pokemon X and Y movie, "Cocoon of Destruction & Diancie."

There are already theories on how Diancie is connected to Mega Evolution and its affinity with stones, but only time will tell what its true purpose is in the upcoming movie.

The release date for the Pokemon X and Y movie is in July, so hopefully the distribution event occurs before then so fans don't have to wait too long!

The only question is, when will Hoopa and Volcanion join Diancie on our Pokemon X and Y Pokedex?!
