K-Pop Crossover [VIDEOS]: Michael Jackson, Britney Spears Lead List Of Top 5 Most Expensive Music Video Of All Time

YG Entertainment announced yesterday that the next 2NE1 music video "CRUSH" has been given a $470,000 budget, a first for the label.

Yet, when it comes to the US pop scene, big budget music videos are nothing new. Here are five videos, that make money for the "CRUSH" video look like a drop in the bucket.

Michael and Janet Jackson, "Scream"

The music video may seem dated, but back in 1995, the collaborative effort had production costs of $7,000,000! After adjusting for inflation, that equals to roughly $10,723,957 by 2014 standards.

Britney Spears, "Work Bitch"

The latest music video effort by the princess of pop not only showcases the "Toxic" singer's sex appeal. The 2013 video also cost $6,500,00 to make.

Madonna

The queen wouldn't be where she is in her career without her impressive visuals, fashion, and music. So, it's no wonder that three of her music videos are among the most expensive music videos ever made.

This includes her 1989 smash hit "Express Yourself" at $5,000,000, 1995 single "Bedtime Story" with $5,000,000, as well as her 2002 controversial music video "Die Another Day," at $6,100,000.

Talk about longevity!

So, which of these most expensive music videos in existence is your favorite, and how do you think 2NE1 will measure up?
