Actor Hyun Bin held his first Japan fan meeting after being discharged from the army.

On February 15, he held his 'Hyun Bin Japan Premium Event 2014' in Yokohama and met with 5,000 fans.

Japan fans waited 3 years and 10 months for this fan meeting as he had been in the army since 2010.

One day before the meeting, Hyun Bin was greeted by hundreds of fans at the airport upon his arrival.

On the day of the fan meeting, there were harsh weather conditions due to rain, but that did not stop fans from making it to the event.

Hyun Bin had a great time communicating with his fans through a talk session and also took photos together as well.

As this was also around Valentine's Day, he held a special event where he made chocolate to give to fans.

Hyun Bin commented, "I am so happy and thankful for all my fans who waited and supported me all this time."

In a related news, Hyun Bin is said to be finishing up filming an upcoming movie, "Yuk Rin", which is a story about a young king Jung Jo during his first year in his reign in the Joseon Dynasty.

Famous TV drama director Lee Jae Kyu is directing this movie. It is the first movie Hyun Bin is appearing in since his discharge from the Marines, and also the first traditional movie he will be appearing in.

The teaser video for this movie was released last month on the 21st, and immediately became the top search result in various search engines. It shows how confident they are about the movie, as it is rare to release a teaser video when the movie is still being filmed.

Hyun Bin also wooed many fans by showing off his back muscles through this video.
