As the Pokemon X and Y anime continues to air in Japan, a series of special episodes will feature some very cool content in March and April!

According to a recent unveiling by the magazine Pokemon Fan, four upcoming episode titles and their synopses have been revealed.

On March 27 in Japan, a one-hour special titled "Iris VS Clair! The Road to Dragon Master!" will broadcast featuring fan favorite Iris.

This Pokemon X and Y anime special will actually take us back to Johto, as Iris journeys through the region in her own adventure.

The episode will air along with an episode focusing on Serena and Fennekin called "Time to Debut! PokeVision with Serena and Fennekin!!"

Then on April 3, another Pokemon X and Y anime special will air.

This one is particularly exciting because it will focus on Mega Evolution, and will feature Charizard, BLastoise, Lucario, Absol, Blaziken, Gardevoir, and Mewtwo.

Perhaps we will get some insight that could tie into the upcoming Pokemon X and Y movie?

The episode title is "Strongest Mega Evolution—Act 1."

If that's not enough, the episode that will air on April 10 will also dive into the much discussed shiny Pokemon. In this anime episode called "Fish the Golden Magikarp," Ash will attempt to fish for an elusive shiny golden Magikarp.

And finally, an episode set to air on April 17 will see the debut of Kalos Pokedex additions Amaura and Aurorus in the X and Y anime.

The episode will see both Pokemon revived from fossils, and Team Rocket going after these rare Pokemon.
