Paige Turco is doing a stellar job in Person of Interest and for that, she has earned another role in a very promising project, the NCIS: New Orleans. The spinoff, which will star Scott Bakula for the lead role, was first announced on September last year and is expected to start shooting this month.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Turco will play the wife of Bakula.
The entertainment website also gave hints that the 48-year old actress, who will still be with Person of Interest, might be there for a recurring role in the NCIS: New Orleans cast.
“Turco, who has a series regular role on The CW's midseason drama The 100, will film the NCIS guest role in second position and potentially recur should the spinoff move forward,” it wrote.
Prior to Turco’s casting, other artists who have been called for the Gary Glasberg and star Mark Harmon-produced spin off are Zoe McLellan, CCH Pounder, and Lucas Black.
NCIS New Orleans will “center on the NCIS New Orleans office, which handles cases from Pensacola, Fla., through Mississippi and Louisiana to the Texas panhandle. New Orleans, with its rich culture of music, fun and debauchery is a magnet for military personnel on leave -- and with fun, comes trouble.”
Meanwhile, spoiler photos from the NCIS Season 11 have been leaked. The show will air its first episode since the Winter Olympics. The episode was written by Christopher Waild and directed by Leslie Libman and will be called “Bulletproof.”
This episode, according to Examiner.com
In 'Bulletproof', faulty bulletproof vests are uncovered in a truck filled with stolen U.S.M.C. merchandise, and the NCIS team attempts to locate the source and track down any vests that may have been shipped to military personnel overseas.
