Audiences were recently pleased by two instances in which their favorite on-screen couples appeared together in popular Korean dramas. LeeSsang's Gary made an appearance with Song Ji Hyo on the Friday-Saturday drama Emergency Couple. As stars of the variety show Running Man, Gary and Song Ji Hyo are often placed in madcap situations. Their chemistry and easy interactions have earned them the nickname 'The Monday Couple'.

Hyunzy: Kim Soo Hyun and Suzy Bae

While the appearance of Gary and Song Ji Hyo on Emergency Couple was thrilling, the reunion of Kim Soo Hyun and Miss A's Suzy was equally exciting. Suzy appeared on the SBS hit drama You Who Came From The Stars as an enraptured college student who was intrigued by the charm of the alien professor Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun). Recently, Kim Soo Hyun and Suzy appeared together as part of their endorsements for the luxury outdoor brand Beanpole. However, the actor and the acting idol had not been on-screen in a drama since 2011's Dream High. Although, Go Hye Mi (Suzy) was placed in a love triangle with Jin Guk (Ok Taecyeon), fans of the program were happy to see Go Hye Mi chase after Song Sam Dong (Kim Soo Hyun).

Taemin and Na Eun

Fans of the scripted reality program We Got Married were saddened by the recent departure of SHINee's Taemin and A Pink's Son Na Eun. Taemin and Na Eun maintained an innocent and upbeat personality, while appearing to have great affection for one another. One of the greatest challenges of We Got Married participants is creating the illusion of newlyweds who are very much in love. In rare cases, the chemistry between the entertainers is solid enough to actually strike a chord with audiences.

Min Hyuk and Krystal

Female K-Drama characters are often portrayed quite narrowly. In The Heirs there were very few sympathetic female characters other than Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye). However, Krystal Jung of SM Entertainment's f(x) emerged from The Heirs with additional fans due to her portrayal of Lee Bo Na. Paired with CNBLUE's Kang Min Hyuk, the idol became one half of one of 2013's most adorable TV couples.

The Dooley Couple:Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye

While fans have now coupled actress Park Shin Hye with her The Heirs co-star Lee Min Ho, many continue to hope that she has a relationship with CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa. Park Shin Hye starred opposite Jung Yong Hwa in the 2009 drama You're Beautiful. Positive audience reception to the on-screen couple attributed to the stars appearing together in the 2011 musical drama Heartstrings. The popular on-screen couple was slated to appear in The Heirs, however, Jung Yong Hwa chose to star in Marry Me If You Dare.
