2NE1 Releases 1st Teaser Image For 'Crush'

A recently released teaser image shows an unconventional and rather fierce Sandara Park, reminding viewers that 2NE1's comeback is just around the corner.

This image was released through YG's official blog (www.yg-life.com) on the 24th at around 2 P.M. The image displays the words 'COME BACK HOME' in large letters as well as 2NE1's new album title 'Crush' and its online release date. The focus, however, is in Sandara Park's complete makeover for the upcoming comeback. She is seen rocking a metallic blue hair dye with an unbalanced cut and a black beanie. Specifically, the black beanie has an 'S' logo that is reminiscent of Seo Taiji and the Boys during the time they were promoting their hit 'Come Back Home'.

'Come Back Home' is one of two title tracks for 2NE1's second album and has been amassing significant attention due to its title being identical to Seo Taiji and the Boys' 1995 hit single. However, the title track has been claimed to be completely different in that it combines genres such as R&B, Reggae and hip-hop into a harmonious blend, categorizing it into the crossover genre. This is rather a distinct characteristic of 2NE1, due to the fact that they are known to be a group who experiments with unconventional sounds of music. In addition, the lyrics are about a person yearning for his/her lover who has gone out of his/her life.

2NE1's new album 'Crush' will be released online on the 26th at precisely 12 A.M. In addition, they will be holding a concert entitled 'All or Nothing' at the Olympic Park's SK Handball Stadium on March 1st and 2nd. This will be the kick-start performance to their world tour, in which they will visit a total of 9 countries and 12 cities. During these concerts, 2NE1 will promote their new tracks.
