In an effort to pump up viewers, director Scott Waugh has created a new Need for Speed movie commercial featuring the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang. The brand new car was the star in the 30-second clip which also stars Aaron Paul who plays Tobey Marshall, the movies main protagonist. Paul is seen driving the 2015 Ford Mustang ross country in search of revenge for his brother who was killed.

“It’s really a car that represents American culture,” Waugh said in a behind the scenes YouTube video of the commercial."

“Do you really think that when you’ve been set up, accused and convicted, a new car can put it all behind you?” the voiceover asks, as footage of the vehicle zooms across the screen. “Depends on the car.”

Based on the initial footages and interviews, the 2015 Ford Mustang was supposed to be a silver and blue with a custom-designed wide body, unique 22-inch alloy wheels, and larger air intakes to feed the supercharged V8 engine under its classic Mustang twin-nostril hood.

The release of the new commercial coincides with Ford’s #InaMustang social media campaign which encourages fans from around the world to post about the places they want to go using a Mustang.

Meanwhile, Aaron Paul has revealed that he had a hard time preparing for kissing scene with his female co-stars in Need for Speed movie. He is so intimidated that he became very conscious with the smell of his breath. Among those he shared a kiss with is Imogen Poots, who plays Julia Maddon, a savvy exotic car dealer who connects the wealthy with high-end supercars.

"During each take we'd be eating Mentos before or Altoids, whatever," Paul said.

The feeling is mutual for Poots.

"I chew gum like a maniac constantly," she said.
