2NE1 Congratulated By YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk After 'Come Back Home' From 'Crush' Does Dynamite First Day Sales

It has been less than 24 hours since 2NE1 released their long-awaited second full-length album "Crush" and already it's a phenomenon.

The leadoff single "Come Back Home" is currently number one on 10 South Korean music charts, including Mnet, Melon, Bugs, Olleh, Soribada, Daum, Cyworld, Monkey3 and Genie.

Nine of the 10 songs on "Crush" clinched the top spots on the chart Naver.

On Thursday, hours after the album's release, 2NE1's label boss, YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk, sent the group a congratulatory message for living up to his rather bold predictions.

"Congratulations girls, you've worked so hard," Yang wrote. "Now enjoy yourselves on the stage with an eased heart."

Band frontwoman CL promptly posted a screen shot of the message to the photo sharing website Instagram.

In addition to the instant success enjoyed "Crush" has enjoyed within Korea, the album's impact was instantly felt worldwide.

The song is currently number 10 on the iTunes list of top US downloads, number six on the Canadian album charts number four in Mexico and number in Brazil.

"The four combined makes them powerful musicians," the group's US concert promoter Travis Payne told the Philippine publication the Manila Bulletin on Thursday.

"I worked with many female groups in the past, but compared to others, all members of 2NE1 have the potential to become [impressive individual] artists."

2NE1 kicks off their "All Or Nothing" world tour in Seoul on Saturday.

The group has shows scheduled in China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Malaysia.

In a video released last week announcing the tour, 2NE1 singer Sandara Park said the groups wants to go anywhere their fans, affectionately referred to as Black Jacks, happen to be.

"Apart from these countries, wherever Black Jack fans are there is a reason for us to visit," she said. "So foreign promoters, please give us a call."
