Florida Welcomes K-Pop! Block B To Head Stateside This June For A Long Awaited US Tour

As K-Pop continues to gain momentum among American fans, an ever-increasing number of popular groups are finding themselves stateside for concerts, live appearances, and fan events.

The next group to announce US tour plans is none other than Block B.

The seven-member hip-hop idol group has seen some tumultuous times in their career, but now that they are nicely situated under their very own record label, Block B will champion another milestone in the Hallyu Wave and become the first South Korean act to perform in the state of Florida.

This June the group will travel from New York City to Washington DC and down to sunny Miami for a series of three east coast showcases.

Initial plans for the tour included a stop in Atlanta, Georgia, but concert promoters changed the location to DC to be more accessible to a larger crowd in hopes of encouraging greater fan attendance.

It will be a tight schedule for Block B who will be cramming three shows into just five days, but American fans couldn't be happier.

Fan events are already in the works for those making the journey to see Block B live at one of their shows and a flyering campaign has started to help spread the word.

Such events and organized fan promotions are increasingly more important and effective in bringing K-Pop groups such as Block B to the United States. And the latest trend in grassroots efforts is opening up a whole new market for South Korean stars who previously saw success in the US as difficult or unrealistic.

Block B is just the latest act to answer American fans' beck and call, and will surely not be the last.

Block B will kick off their mini US tour on June 22 in New York City at the Theatre at Westbury before heading down south to Washington DC's Warner Theater on June 24. The group will wrap things up at the Fillmore in Miami Beach on June 27.

Stay tuned for more information about ticketing as the concert dates draw nearer and in the meantime check out some of the fans events being planned.   Follow the promoter's Facebook page for up-to-the-minute details HERE.
