Fantasy K-Pop Collab: HyunA + Future

4Minute member HyunA is undoubtedly one of South Korea's hottest young stars and in the last couple of years her fame has exploded.

Aside from her popular girl group, HyunA has managed to be successful as a soloist as well as half of sultry duo Troublemaker and of course as the much-needed eye candy in Psy's international hit song "Gangnam Style."

Now HyunA is taking on one of the US's biggest music festivals, this week's SXSW in Austin, Texas. She joins the likes of hip-hop star Jay Park and popular rock bands Nell and Jang Kiha and the Faces as part of the festival's second annual K-POP NIGHT OUT in conjunction with the Korean Creative Content Agency.

The tremendous privilege to perform alongside some of the greatest musicians in America will hopefully serve as an excellent networking opportunity for the young star who has reportedly been feverishly studying English for a while now in hopes of making an official debut in the US soon.

Future is an Atlanta-based hip-hop star who burst onto the music scene with his debut album Pluto in 2012 after several years of popular mixtape releases. Pluto produced five Top 100 singles and launched his career as one of the most innovative rappers of our time.

A 2012 SXSW participant, Future mixes melodic sounds into his tracks offering a smooth, pleasant sound he describes as "feel good music straight from the soul."

While HyunA won't be running into the rapper at this year's SXSW, she will gain some exposure to the bounty of the American music scene and have the chance to see and hob-nob with many other influential players in the music industry.

Future has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, and a diverse bunch of them at that. Last November he released "Real and True" with Miley Cyrus and featuring English recording artist Mr. Hudson. His latest jam, "Move That Dope", features Pharrell Williams and Pusha T and previous recordings have included Snoop Dogg, Little Wayne, and Kelly Rowland among others.

Future is slated to release a sophomore studio album this year, a project he has been painstakingly working on for quite some time now, and it might be time for him to extend his influence overseas.

HyunA is an enigma in the K-Pop scene with her feisty personality and no-holds approach to entertainment. An accomplished dancer and singer and all-around Korean sex goddess, HyunA is a mainstay force in the Korean music industry - collaborating with her is like chart-topping gold.

Future might want to check her out in Austin this week and see if he might fit her in on a verse or hook to one of his upcoming tracks.
