Taylor Swift & Lorde Friends Or Lovers? ‘Royals’ Singer Being Linked Romantically To The No. 1 Billboard Money Makers List For 2014

Are Taylor Swift & Lorde friends or lovers? Well Aussie DJ Kyle Sandilands was trying to impose that the two Grammy Award winning artists are more than just friends during a recent interview from "The Kyle & Jackie O Show" with the "Royals" songstress.

However, the Kiwi pop sensation dissed the claims by shutting down the Aussie DJ.

Read The Interview Here:

"Are you bringing your new bestie, Taylor Swift?" the radio host asked.

"I see you guys' pictures everywhere. Are you guys like, uh, are you together now?" After a moment of silence from the singer, he continued, "Not together as in lesbians. I'm not talking about 'Ellen together.' I'm talking about, like, you guys are friendly right?"

"What do you mean you're not talking about 'Ellen together'?" she asked. "Is there something wrong with lesbians? Is that what you're trying to say?"

"Oh my god no, I would love that!" Sandilands responded, "Are you going to confirm now you're in a lesbian relationship with her?"

However, Lorde did not take the bait by saying: "Don't even try it. It's not working."

Sandilands even managed to insult the 17-year old artist more by saying that the top Billboard Money Makers for 2014 is a "gorgeous creature" adding "no wonder you guys get on" and by this time Lorde has had enough of the DJ and offered no response.

"Don't get too overboard with explaining the friendship, though. We haven't got all day," Sandilands blundered before concluding the interview.

"I won't, believe me," Lorde replied.

Taylor Swift & Lorde feud has made headlines following the Royals' singer statement about the 24-year old Grammy Award winner saying that "[Taylor] is too flawless and unattainable."

However, these issues were soon resolved and now the two are acting like they're inseparable, with tributes to each other on Twitter and just recently the "I Know You Were Trouble" singer shared a photo of her and the "Royals" singer on Instagram enjoying the beach barefoot.

Lorde claimed that their musical styles were so radically different and that might have been the one thing that could make them work together.

She said: "The cool thing about Taylor is she is pretty willing to go a lot of places with music. I think that last record [Red] in particular, everyone was, like, 'Woah, a lot of ground has been covered.'

And I think with an artist like her the sky is the limit."

So a collaboration between Lorde and Taylor Swift could be a real possibility.

Meanwhile, Royals Singer Lorde wants her phenomenal hit single "Royals" to be pulled out from the radio because she apparently don't want her listeners to grow tired of her music.

"I want to let people stop hearing Lorde on the radio all the time, because it's kind of crazy at the moment," the Grammy award-winning singer told V Magazine.

Lorde or Ella Yelich- O'Connor (her real name) reveals something about her hit single, when asked by Australia's The Music saying: "I definitely don't think 'Royals' is my best song. I understand why it worked and why it was kind of a hit, I can see those qualities in it, but at the same time there's part of me that's like...'these melodies are just not as good as something I could have written now'."

She believed that she matured through the years after writing Royals and that her preference for music grew along the way, "I think you grow a lot in that period," she said. "It definitely feels like a bit of a relic now."

Royals Singer Lorde maybe the first ever New Zealander to reach the top spot in the US Billboards, however her fame certainly does not get in her head, as the teen pop sensation reportedly does not want to be called a "teen hottie" nor her fans to be named as "disciples."

The 17-year old singer believes that "pun centric" nicknames for fans are undignified, think about Katy Perry's KatyCats or Lady Gaga's Little Monsters.

Lorde definitely has noble intentions, which she also thinks that  nicknames for fans can create such tribal behavior that can easily get out of hand - just like when Lady Gag's Little Monsters announced an all out war online against Miley Cyrus' fans.

Consequently, when Lorde's fan proposed to the "Royals" singer that they should be called them as her "disciples," Lorde quickly disagreed, saying that such behavior is "grating" and humiliating.

"Never!," she said in a magazine interview. "I have discouraged it. I've tweeted multiple times, 'No fan name, I do not condone this."'
