Kim Jaejoong Of JYJ Joins 'Triangle' Cast: Rep For Singer Says He Hopes To Give Multi-Dimensional Performance

The star power of the upcoming Korean television drama "Triangle" continues to grow, as JYJ singer Kim Jaejoong was announced on Tuesday as an official addition to the cast, which already includes Yim Siwan of ZE:A.

In a press release from JYJ's record label C-JeS Entertainment, a representative for Jaejoong claims the star is looking forward to showing several sides of his acting abilities in the role.

"He's very happy to be able to work with the best staff in a great production and wants to do his best best in this drama, to show his multi-dimensional charms as an actor," the rep said.

The plot of "Triangle" revolves around three brothers. Jaejoong will play the part of the middle child who is a gang member. Siwan will star alongside him as his spoiled younger brother. Actor Lee Bum Soo will play the eldest brother, a police officer.

The show is scheduled to premiere in May.

No word yet as to whether the new role has affected Jaejoong's songwriting plans for this month.

In the March issue of Nylon Magazine, the JYJ singer claimed he had time set aside for creative pursuits.

"I often don't have enough time to write music," Jaejoong said. "So I'll concentrate on writing music for the whole month of March. I just want to have some time alone."

The pop star-turned actor also revealed his two favorite words.

"Light and heaven," he said. "Both of them feel bright, but then they can also be used in a darker context. If someone tells you 'I hope you go to heaven,' it sounds good. But on the other hand it sounds rather scary. I actually use these two words quite often in my lyrics."
