Facebook’s ‘KPOP on Facebook’ a dedicated K-Pop page opened on May 20 at 7PM local time, is garnering a lot of attention.

Facebook is allowing worldwide K-Pop lovers to see most update to information, news and other contents on K-Pop in Korean and English in a single page even without connecting to the individual SM, JYP, YG Entertainment and more artists.

KPOP Pages under the ‘KPOP on Facebook’ page is a listing of K-Pop artists’ official Facebook page and it’s ranked according to the number of ‘Likes’ on their Facebook page.

As of today, May 23 currently Super Junior is listed on the top with 4,647,725 likes followed by Girls’ Generation with 3,170,492 likes, Big Bang with 2,992,214 links as second and third artists. The most noticeable is SHINee’s rapid growth of ranking fourth with 2,595,933 likes. As well as Kim Hyun Joong who is currently active as a solo artist, who was part of popular boy band SS501, is receiving attention for drawing in a total of 2,418,008 likes.

Looking at the list of top 10 artists SM has 3 artists in the top 10 with a total of 10,414,150 likes has the most, followed by YG with 3 artists has 6,706,206 likes and JYP with 2 artists has 2,863,885 likes. The total of number of likes for the K-Pop artists are staggering proving it’s worldwide fan base as well as Korea to be the leading country as the internet powerhouse.
