He is handsome. He really is handsome, isn't he? He's a rapper that really knows his hip hop music. Hip hop group Troy member Jaewoong is who we're talking about here. At 33 years old, he himself wondered if it would be right to debut as a singer at this age, but there are some really noteworthy aspects to this rapper.

For one thing, he's handsome. And he's a good rapper. He's athletic. He was even a national athlete. But that's not all. If you talk to him, he's even more likeable. And if you see his performance, you'll go nuts.

Ever since 9th grade Jaewoong lived a snowboarder's life, for 14 years. He was picked for the national team when he was in high school. But he had to quit because of economic hardship and injury. He worked at a clothing company, where he was picked up by Brand New Music's Rhymer. Because he's a sports athlete, his fighting spirit is stronger than most. He has the dream of going big with his music.

Once he joined as a member of Troy, he clung harder to music. Jaewoong said, "I've never copied rap. That's because Rhymer advised me that rap isn't something you learn from someone else, but that you need to accept music as it is." Jaewoong repetitively practiced listening to music and writing rap by himself. With that learned skill he debuted with Troy.

When you hear him talk, you'll soon realize that he has many aspirations. Men with aspirations are cool. He's good looking, but he said he doesn't want to be noticed for his looks. He even expressed that he doesn't want to be called 'the face of Troy'. When he heard that he looks like SHINee's Minho, he started apologizing. "Being compared to the handsome and young Minho is something I'm very apologetic for. I'm old," he said very humbly with a smile.

There's no end to Jaewoong's charm. He doesn't like going to clubs full of pretty girls. He has no reason to roam clubs in the middle of the night. He said, "When I feel like drinking, I go to the town's stall and have a drink with Kanto." And even that he hasn't been able to do because he's been so busy preparing for his debut. He said he can handle about 3-4 bottles of Soju.

On his break, Jaewoong likes to exercise. That's why he has muscle instead of fat. He says his ideal girl is one that looks oriental.

Jaewoong knows how to take care of his fans. Even before his debut he's had fans. When they would bring him gifts, he would tell them not to spend their money, and would instead tell them, "I'd be thankful for just a fan letter."

Troy is well known because of Bumkey. They released their debut song "Green Light" on the 14th, and had their first debut performance on a music program. The song was made by Bumkey and Keeproots, who produced for Dynamic Duo, Leessang, and Eun Ji Won. It's a punk hip hop song that was modified from the retro Brazilian jazz genre into a more modern way. The retro sound and up tempo hip hop beat are well harmonized.

Troy is a group that is quickly building awareness with their excellent skill. They're already made their name known in the hip hop scene, but the group hasn't really received much attention maybe with the exception of Bumkey. But things are looking good. Troy, including Jaewoong, is eyeing the hip hop musician spot that will captivate the public. They're already off to a great start.
