TVXQ Take A Train Trip With 180 Fans To Celebrate Their 10 Years As A Band

Call it the TVXQ version of "Magical Mystery Tour."

On Monday, the two members of TVXQ, U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin, took a train trip through South Korea's Gokseong County with 180 fans, to celebrate the band's 10th year in existence.

"We had an enjoyable and meaningful time, making special memories with the fans by taking a train ride in celebration of our 10th anniversary," read an official band statement to eNEWS on Tuesday.

"We'll keep working hard as we move forward, so please continue to show your support and love."

After the "TVXQ Train," which departed from Seoul, arrived at the Gokseong station, the group held an autograph signing at Rose Park in Seomjin River Train Village.

Over 10,000 fans from Japan, China, Thailand, Singapore and South Korea competed for the exclusive train tickets. The lucky few travelers were treated to several personal interactions with TVXQ, including when Yunho and Changmin did the attendance roll call themselves.

The TVXQ bandmates appeared to enjoying themselves, smiling as they spoke to the fans through the train's intercom system.

But the longtime collaborators weren't always so fond of traveling with each other.

In an interview earlier this month on the Korean cable talk show "Beatles Code 3D," Changmin recalled that after perhaps the band's biggest challenge to date, the departure of former TVXQ members Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun and Xiah Junsu (who later formed the group JYJ), the two remaining band members often used to bicker on the road.

"We really fought about small, petty things," he said.

"We argued over the way to drink from a bottle and about one of us putting our feet up with shoes on, in the van. And the bitter feelings built up as I held them in. But now, I just tell him right away if something bothers me. I also started making fun of him about videos he was in. So, that naturally got us to be more comfortable around each other."
