Can ex-Sechs Kies member Kang Sung Hoon succeed in his comeback?

According to agency staff, Kang Sung Hoon is preparing for a comeback on April 15^th, the 17^th year anniversary of Sechs Kies. He plans to remake Sechs Kies' hit song "Couple" as his comeback song to target the retro trend that started with tvN drama "Reply 1994".

Kang Sung Hoon, the main vocal of Sechs Kies, used to be wildly popular with his sweet and clean voice."Couple", which is still sung at weddings, is Sech Kies' most successful song. The combination of Kang Sung Hoon and "Couple" is projected to trigger music fans' memories of the 90s.

Kang Sung Hoon was previously prosecuted for not repaying a loan from 2009-2012; however, he was released on probation after reaching an agreement with the plaintiff last September. His public image suffered a hit through this court case; the media is focused on whether he can successfully make a comeback through "Couple".

Other Sechs Kies members Jang Soo Won, Kim Jae Duk, and Lee Jae Jin had appealed with deposit for favorable arrangements to be made on Kang Sung Hoon's behalf during the case, demonstrating loyalty for their former colleague. Since Eun Ji Won, Jang Soo Won, and Kim Jae Duk also performed a half-Sechs Kies stage at the DSP Festival last year, Sechs Kies fans are expecting a reunited Sechs Kies performance through Kang Sung Hoon's comeback.

Previously, Kang Sung Hoon participated as a runway model in Park Jong Chul's SLING STONE fashion show for the 2014 F/W Seoul Fashion Week.
