Chinese movie "Hong Yan Lu Shui", staring Korean singer-actor Rain will begin playing in Chinese theaters on November 11.

Cube DC, Rain's agency, stated: "Rain, who will star as the main protagonist in "Hong Yan Lu Shui", attended a press conference in Shanghai yesterday".

Agency staff stated that the release date of the movie was announced to be November 11.

Lui Yifei, Rain's co-star, also attended the press conference.

Rain stated: "I'm glad to be working with China's best movie people. I've seen works by the director Gao Shishi and Lui Yifei's "A Chinese Ghost Story", so I have a lot of trust in them. The director seems strict but he is actually a very patient and caring leader".

Lui Yifei revealed that she was Rain's fan, complimenting Rain: "I'm a very lucky person - during my showcase in Korea, I've once said that my favorite Korean actor is Rain. Rain is very talented in many areas; his professionalism and acting skills shone throughout the filming process".

Gao Shishi claimed: "It's exciting working with Rain; I've always wanted to work with him. Everyday is fun because Rain and Lui Yifei have already melted into their roles".

Movie "Hong Yan Lu Shui" is about a man and a woman who approached the relationship with ulterior motives but ended up in passionate love.

Rain plays the role of a love-seeking artist Shui Chung Shin.

Meanwhile, Rain demonstrated his undying popularity with the success of 6^th album tracks "30SEXY" and "La Song".
