Ashee Simpson's wedding to fiance Evan Ross of "Hunger Games: Mockingjay" could be happening soon as the couple marked their engagement party and diva Diana Ross' birthday celebration all in one day.

Ashlee Simpson tweeted a photo of her and fiancé Evan Ross about to kiss as they lovingly gazed into each other's eyes. The "Pieces of Me" singer was wearing a feathered headpiece like those by showgirls in Vegas while Evan Ross was wearing a fur coat (presumably faux).

The Twitter image also came with the caption: "What an amazing engagement party with all of our loved ones! We gettin' married :)"

Elder sister Jessica Simpson also attended the engagement party and is expected to play a part in the entourage for Ashlee Simpson's wedding to Evan Ross.

Jessica Simpson also posted on her Instagram a photo of her and Ashlee Simpson at the latter's engagement party to Evan Ross together along with the caption: "Celebrating my best friend and sister@missbananahammock @ashleesimpsonofficial. I love her so much!"

Earlier in the day, the pair proceeded to the Malibu beach to celebrate Diana Ross' 70^th birthday. MailOnline said the party was "much more low-key affair" where everybody knew everybody, and no alcohol was involved. Instead, everybody was just drinking coke and Vitaminwater.

Two weeks ago, Evan Ross told E! News that he wanted his wedding to Ashlee Simpson over with as soon as possible.

"Honestly, we could go and get married right now, wherever," he said. "This is the most incredible time I could ever think of in my life and I'm young, but the same time, I've lived a different life than most and I can't think of a happier moment."

He also said that birthday celebrant Diana Ross has been hands-on with their wedding. "My mom is helping plan my wedding right now," Evan Ross said. "She's involved in all levels of my life."
