Super Junior Will Release New Album Before Leeteuk Joins the Military

Super Junior announced the release of their sixth studio album will take place before leader Leeteuk leaves to fulfill his two year military service this year.

Super Junior recently held their world tour ‘Super Show 4’ encore concert on May 26, 27 at Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium. On the last day Leetuek announced during his performance the group is working on their sixth studio album and is planning to release before he leaves for military service.

Also as Super Junior member Kangin most recently was discharged just last month fans are speculating his return through the sixth studio album this summer. Fans are highly anticipating Super Junior’s and Kangin’s comeback as well.

Super Junior has sold a total of 502,830 copies with ‘Mr. Simple’ until March of this year, marking the group to keep their position as album king for three years in a row. Super Junior’s record of half-million sales is subsequently achieved by Kim Gun Mo’s eighth album ‘Hestory’ in 2003 and TVXQ’s fourth album ‘MIROTIC’ in 2008. Fans are highly anticipating Super Junior’s new album.
