OnStyle captured 2NE1 as they helped to celebrate the  25^th Anniversary of DKNY and the Spring collection for the label. CL led the group as they became the highlight of the DKNY show. CL and 2NE1 continue to garner international attention through their fashion forward images. It is no exception that the group was chosen for DKNY, the utilitarian urban New York-based fashion house that was conceived by designer Donna Karan. While 2NE1 has become synonymous with the avante garde concepts of Jeremy Scott, DKNY is now a ready-to wear subsidiary of LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy). However, the incorporation of 2NE1 brought forth the unique flavor of New York that is featured within the designs.

The event was held at the W Seoul Wakerhill Vista Hall in Seoul on March 27. A highlight of the show was the appearance of CL on the runway, as she displayed her omnipresent fierceness.

The world focused on Seoul beyond the DKNY show last week, as the star studded 2014 F/W Seoul Fashion Week was held. While F/W Seoul Fashion Week received criticism for being held significantly later than those held at other locales, the event delivered some of the biggest stars in K-Pop to the runway. The focus of the upcoming We Got Married Global Edition SHINee's Key and Japanese model Arisa Yagi were an eye catching couple as they took to the runway for JARRET. The JARRET runway show was held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), along with the majority of the 2013 F/W Seoul Fashion Week.

Seoul will be featured on the international stage as the setting for the upcoming season of America's Next Top Model. Stars from BTOB and Royal Pirates have already engaged in shooting for the model search program led by Tyra Banks, with 2NE1 also scheduled to appear.  Will projects like the government funded Concept Korea which stages at New York Fashion Week help to lead fashion as Korea's next major component of the Hallyu Wave? As K-Pop and Korean drama continue to make inroads into foreign markets, it appears as though fashion will be the next major export.
