Eric Nam Interviews Himself For April Fools Day, Imitating His Interview With Amanda Seyfried

While some people may pull practical pranks on their friends to celebrate April Fools Day, solo singer Eric Nam had fun on April 1 during an interview with himself, where he imitated his famous interview with Amanda Seyfried. Amanda Seyfried was definitely more comfortable in her interview than Eric was in this one, but he kept making references to that interview.

Eric was interviewed by his Korean alter-ego, Nam Yoon Do, a reporter for Eric Nam Special TV. Yoon Do was very put together and a professional MC, who wore Eric's trademark glasses. He spoke in Korean during the interview, and seemed very uncomfortable by the lack of true responses from Eric.

In comparison, the English-speaking version of Eric was very casual, and wore his concept outfit for his upcoming song 'Ooh Ooh.' He didn't give satisfactory answers to most of the questions that Eric-Yoon Do asked, and instead seemed altogether awkward about being interviewed.

Eric-Yoon Do asked Eric to introduce his upcoming album and the response was: "Um, it's a really, really, um, good song, uh it has brass in it, it's funky, it has a lot of groove. And it's a really good song so, uh, I think it's a good song, I hope you think it's a good song, I think you'll like it. Yea, I think it's a good song."

After discussing his album a tiny bit, Eric-Yoon Do handed Eric some ojingo, Korean squid, just as he had in his original with Amanda Seyfried. Her response was identical, and the comparisons between the interviews was obvious.

However, while Amanda Seyfried had sung a rendition of EXO's 'Growl,' Eric instead sang a bit of 'Ooh Ooh.' Unfortunately, the song hasn't been released yet so that part of the interview was muted.

Compare the two interviews here and judge whether Eric's interview imitates Amanda's:
