B.A.P - Why Are They So Popular In Overseas Markets?

Hip hop boy group B.A.P has landed in Japan. Their soon to be released 3rd album No Mercy has already received 50,000 pre-orders, according to TS Entertainment on April 2nd. The Hallyu fever has been calming down a bit in Japan, but local fans are still showing an explosive response to B.A.P. Why is B.A.P so strong in overseas markets?

For one thing, all of the members have solid musical ability and talent. Not only that, this boy group boasts a unique style and powerful charisma, and is therefore receiving recognition from overseas fans. More than anything overseas markets put the emphasis of individuality, and it looks like B.A.P brings a freshness that is unlike other Korean idols. That's why they're receiving such high praise overseas.

As a result, B.A.P's activities are crossing borders lately. Earlier this year, they concluded their comeback activities in Korea and decided to hold 'B.A.P Live On Earth Continent Tour,' holding 20 concerts on 4 different continents. It's something that would be impossible if they were not a Class A boy group.

B.A.P successfully completed their concerts in Korea on March 8th and 9th, and started their tour for New York, Dallas, Chicago, and Los Angeles, as well as UK, France, and Germany. Their goal is to get their voices out there all across the earth. They're already stamped their presence in the fast-growing North American market. So now they're unfolding large-scale European tours, where their fandom has been recently been rapidly increasing.

Not only that, their world tour will continued in Australia and Singapore as well. To continue with the hot response, B.A.P will perform in Melbourne on May 8th and in Sydney on the 10th.

The group's worldwide fandom will continue as B.A.P releases their 3rd single in Japan. B.A.P debuted last October with their debut single album Warrior in Japan, and also received high praise for the 2nd single album One Shot.

B.A.P held their 1st Japan official fan meeting 'The First Date with Baby Japan' on March 28th in Sendai, Osaka, and Tokyo, gathering about 10,000 fans.
