Jay Park To Be New Blue Eyes Master For 'Dancing 9 Season 2'

Singer, rapper and CEO Jay Park (27) will join 'Dancing 9 Season 2' as a master.

This coming June, Jay Park has confirmed to be a fixed member of Mnet's Dancing 9 Season 2, becoming the new master for the Blue Eyes. He will help refine the dancing skills of his team as well as work together with them on their choreography.

Jay Park's dancing skills are widely known in the entertainment industry. Being part of the b-boy crew A.O.M (Art of Movement) since his youth days in Seattle, Jay Park has cultivated a talent that is considered exceptional even by experts in the field. In addition, he was an ambassador of the R-16 Korea World Bboy Championship, further demonstrating his love for the art. In September of last year, Jay Park, together with his crew, performed during the One Hip-Hop Festival in Korea. He also took part in the b-boy movie Hype Nation 3D.

Dancing 9, which premiered last year, is Korea's first ever dance survival program. In season 1, the Red Wings (name of the team) emerged victorious over the Blue Eyes. With a grand prize of 500 million won for the winner, the competition is said to unlike any other.

It has been revealed that for season 2, the Red Wing crew will retain its previous members. The Blue Eyes, however, will undergo a complete restructuring with master Jay Park being the only member currently confirmed.
