The climate of love is changing for female stars.

Before, any and all relationship rumors were met with denials left and right. Female stars used to consider such rumors as the fast track to their grave, but now these stars are openly acknowledging them, and the public approves. We're now in a time where female stars don't have to hide or deny their relationships.

On April 4th news of 2PM's Nichkhun and Girls' Generation's Tiffany spread like wildfire on the internet. Nichkhun and Tiffany started off as acquaintances thanks to their similarly timed activities and their common background of having a non-Korean citizenship. They grew closer as friends, and their relationship eventually developed into a romantic one. Both parties' agencies readily confirmed that they are dating, and have received even more attention.

And of course we can't forget about Yoona and Lee Seung Gi, who first announced their relationship on the first day of this year. Since both parties are seen as righteous and sincere, fans were eager to congratulate the couple. It was reported that Lee Seung Gi had dates in the car due to their extremely busy schedules. Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho, who previously denied their relationship in February and October of last year, confirmed that they are dating on January 3rd, after a photo was published of the couple together.

"The Goddess of Fire" co-stars Moon Geun Young and Kim Bum confirmed their relationship right after the rumor spread. They are a hot topic, especially because it's Moon Geun  Young's first ever officially announced relationship. They also reportedly went on a Europe trip after they admitted to dating.

One broadcast official said, "Before, most relationship rumors were reported through words, but nowadays it takes just one photo to be used as evidence. They can't deny the photo." Another rep stated, "It's true that the issue of female stars meeting and breaking up with their significant others has become much more free. It's worse if they try to deny the truth. Even the public is happier when they just admit to the relationships in a cool manner."
