Junggigo And Beenzino Team Up Once Again For New Single Out April 17

Korean singer Junggigo has been a fixture on the music charts for the past two months, and it looks like he might continue his success with a new collaboration.

Since February, Junggigo and SISTAR member Soyou have remained comfortably atop many music charts with their hit single "Some" featuring Lil Boi of Geeks.

The catchy, fun pop song thrust the singer into the spotlight and is undoubtedly one of the biggest songs of 2014.

Many fans have been curious about how Junggigo plans to follow up his duet with Soyou, and today they received an answer.

According to an announcement from his label, Starship Entertainment, Junggigo plans to join forces with renowned rapper Beenzino for his next song.

"Junggigo is set to team up with rapper Beenzino for his next project to be released April 17," said a statement from the agency. "They have already completed recording and are putting on the finishing touches."

Many have high expectations for the "Some" follow-up as it is not the first time Junggigo and Beenzino have collaborated. In 2012, Beenzino was featured on the track "yourbody" off his first EP, pathfinder.

Starship also has high hopes for Junggigo's upcoming single. "As much as he prides himself as a 'hip-hop-buster', he poured his heart and soul into the quality of the music," explained the rep.

Stay tuned for Junggigo and Beenzino's latest collaboration, due out on April 17.
