SM Announces that They Will Not Be Lenient on EXO's New Song Leak

SM Entertainment stated that they will take all steps required to bring justice to the offender who has leaked EXO's "Overdose" track and choreography video.

SM also added: "The exposed clip was filmed for MBC's "Music Core" and is not a completed version of the song and choreography."

Staff explained: "We are currently asking all websites to take down the illegally distributed video. The investigation is under way to determine where and how the video was leaked. SM will sue the distributor and claim for damages according to the law".

Staff continued, "Illegal distribution is a form of infringement of copyright laws and we will not be lenient in dealing with these cyber crimes. We will enforce the law so that this will not happen again in the future".

Yesterday, the leaked choreography video of EXO's "Overdose" was uploaded on various media webpages such as Youtube. The clip contained EXO's new performances on the "Overdose" track. The video spread like wildfire to various online community websites.

"Overdose" is an urban-style dance song with roots in hip-hop and R&B. The song was completed as a collaboration between popular composer Kenzie and world-renowned producing team The Underdogs, who has worked with Beyonce, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, and other musicians.

Meanwhile, EXO holds "EXO Greeting Party in Japan Hello!" on April 11-13 at Tokyo's Saitama Super Arena.for 100,000 fans.
