This April, more than five new variety shows are set to air. Not only this, but the top MCs of variety shows including Kang Ho Dong, Yoo Jae Suk, and Shin Dong Yup are looking to take up other shows. Top producers, including the producers of "Strong Heart" and "Healing Camp", are also producing brand new shows that will air in April.

SBS's newest show is "Roommate". The show will follow the culmination of "K-Pop Star 3", and it will be produced by the producer of SBS's "Strong Heart". It's a show that will feature 10-12 top celebrities living in the same house. The first episode is set to air on April 20th.

SBS will also be releasing a show called "Magic Eye". While the details of the show are yet to be revealed, SBS has confirmed that the producers of "Healing Camp" and the producers of "Hey Love" are co-producing the show. It will feature Moon So Ri, Lee Hyori, Kim Gu Ra, and SBS announcer Bae Sung Jae as MC's. The exact release date of the show is yet announced.

MBC's newest show is "Romance Rescue". The show will feature solo guests who cannot get a girlfriend or boyfriend and help them fall in love. Jun Hyun Moo, Noh Hong Chul, and Baek Ji Young will be the MCs of the show. The show will begin to air on April 24th.

MBC will also air the show "Star Gazing", which is a talk show that will feature a star (or stars) and their fans. They will be able to talk to each other face to face. The show will be hosted by Kang Ho Dong, Super Junior Shin Dong, and model Hong Jin Kyung. It will air on April 17th.

Comedian Lee Hong Ryul is planning his comeback after a near 20 year hiatus from comedy. He will appear on the comedy show "The Way of Comedy", set to air on April 21st. As he was a big ticket comedy star in the 90's, MBC executives are hoping that Lee Hong Ryul and revive his career and MBC's failing comedy line.

Shin Dong Yup is jumping into his first real variety program ever on the show "Mr. Peter Pan". The show will group older male celebrities in one apartment and have them play childhood games. It will feature Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Kyung Ho, Han Jae Suk, and Jung Man Sik.

Yoo Jae Suk, arguably the top MC in Korea at the moment, is also appearing on a new show called "I'm A Man". It's a show dedicated to men, even advertising the show as "the show that girls shouldn't watch." Noh Hong Chul and Lim Won Hee also appear as panel MC's.

As the three main broadcasting companies of Korea begin to roll out new variety shows, it will interesting to see which company did the best in figuring out the best interest of the viewers.
