Katey Sagal has been a fixture on TV since she married that she salesman on "Married With Children." For years, Katey Sagal voiced the one-eyed Alien on "Futurama" the long-running futuristic cartoon created by Matt Groening, who created "The Simpsons."

For the past six years, Katey Sagal has been a tough presence on Sons of Anarchy. The series is winding down. Sagal is keeping herself ready for whatever comes next.

Katey Sagal has been playing the role of Gemma Teller Morrow on Sons of Anarchy since the FX series debuted in 2008. But don't ask her how the show is going to end. She says she's "sort of not in that yet."

As Sons of Anarchy will soon be heading into its final season, Sagal isn't thinking about that. She said "I haven't gotten sad, I'm sort of not in that yet. I'm just not thinking about that. I suppose it will be sad. This one, I'm sure there will be sad moments, but it has been an amazing ride."

Katey Sagal won a Golden Globe award for Sons of Anarchy in 2011. The show is big. Sagal says more people recognized her Gemma Teller than Peg Bundy, her character on Married With Children, lately.

She told Billboard toward the end of 2013, "Now, it's more about Gemma. I did used to get it all the time, but not so much anymore."

So what's next for Sagal after Sons of Anarchy ends? "I'm about to go back out there and see, see what happens next, so. I have been so blessed and so grateful to have had this job and the previous ones I've had. I feel very fortunate to have been here to have found this and to have [Kurt] write it for me."

Kurt Sutter, the writer and producer of Sons of Anarchy, and Katey Sagal have been married since 2004.

Sagal says "I think he's quite brilliant, so it's nice to have that other perspective of your mate, where you are able to just create something together and different than at home talking about kids and being in your married life. I find that fascinating and very sexy."
