"Scandal" season 3 finale airs this week! According to new spoilers, the "explosive" season finale will lead Olivia to question Maya's motives, and Charlie will make a "shocking" move!

According to TVGuide.com, the "Scandal" season 3 finale episode will take place on Election Day, meaning "the candidates will do just about anything for votes. Meanwhile, Olivia tries to make sense of Maya's motives; and Charlie makes a shocking move."

The "Mega Buzz" column at TV Guide teases an "explosive" finale for "Scandal" season 3 in recent spoilers:

"It sounds like Maya's plan to target the president with her bomb will come to fruition. In other words, expect an explosive season finale! Making matters worse, we hear the finale takes place on Election Day, which means that the lives of even more people, including campaign manager Olivia, will be in jeopardy. Anyone want to guess the victim(s)?"

"Matt's Inside Line" column at TVLine teases: "'The finale explodes into a million different pieces,' Darby Stanchfield told me of the April 17 episode. 'This set of characters, especially over at Olivia Pope & Associates, are more splintered off from each other than ever before. I mean, when we were shooting the episode, I actually thought to myself, 'I wonder if they're actually going to tear down the set and build a new one?' It's that extreme.'"
