Earlier this year Girl's Day and AOA caused a scene with their sexy concepts, and they're having relay comebacks once again.

These two groups are both planning for June comebacks, and it's highly likely that those dates will overlap. In January Girl's Day was stirring up a sexy scene with their song "Something" when AOA's "Miniskirt" took the baton. There's great expectation as to whether their comebacks will cause a synergy once again.

What's impressive is that neither of the girl groups are going with 'sexy' as their main concepts. They really nailed it in the beginning of this year with their sexy comebacks, but it seems as if they're planning to showcase a different charm than sexy for their upcoming comebacks.

At the time of their "Something" days in January, Girl's Day's Minah said, "I hope you don't all expect our next comeback to be with a sexy image. We still have a lot to show you all." Park Jang Keun of Duble Sidekick, who's currently working on their new album, said, "While working on 'Something,' the vocal potentials of Sojin and Minah were confirmed. The new song is being prepared as a very fun season song."

Girl's Day is saying that since they've already done a sexy concept once, they'll be showing off other different images to highlight the members' skills and variety of colors.

AOA also won't be going with 'sexy' as their main concept. They took the number 1 trophy on SBS' "Inkigayo" in February and proved their popularity. They're also planning to use a different colored song to create a hit, and prove that they can appeal to the audience even if they don't use a sexy strategy.

AOA originally debuted as a group that has potential as both a dance group and band. The group is saying they still have an endless number of things to show the public. Even though they're focusing on their identity as a dance group right now, they're not being lazy about band practice. One AOA rep stated, "AOA is working hard on their comeback preparations and upcoming activities, and not foregoing practicing as a band. They're very busy preparing. They need to put in much more time and effort than other groups, but they do it to prove that they can show off many different sides in a way that only AOA can manage."
