On April 15, Eddy Kim's agency MYSTIC89 stated: "Fans requested that Eddy Kim promote his new album with 'The Manual'. We held a vote on April 13 so that fans could pick a title song, and as a result, we decided to promote 'The Manual' as a second title song in addition to 'Push and Pull."

Although it is rare for a musician to change his title song, MYSTIC89 stated that it is a result of "rapid and effective communication with fans." Starting on April 17, Eddy Kim will meet fans with "The Manual".
