Peanuts Movie 2015 Trailer: Snoopy And Charlie Brown Seen On New 3D Film Footage; Charles Schulz Story To Hit Theaters November Next Year

Charlie Brown and the gang are set to hit the big screen again in a movie titled "Peanuts" on 2015. A new teaser trailer has been released, which featured the 3d version of the well-loved boy with his trusty canine pal, Snoopy.

The short footage in the tune of Vince Guaraldi's "Linus and Lucy" Peanuts theme song, with Woodstock, shows Snoopy fooling around with Charlie Brown, who exclaims his famous line, "Good grief!"

 "Peanuts" movie is set to hit theaters on Nov. 15, 2015 in 3-D animation, coinciding with the 65th anniversary of Chales Schulz' famed comic strip.

The movie is penned by the Charles Schulz' grandson, Brian, and produced by his son, Craig, who keeps things under wrap as far as plot details, are concerned: "It's about a round-headed kid and his dog, and that's about as far as I'm willing to go," he said.

Rather than tackling the plot, Craig opted to discuss his pride in continuing the legacy of his father by producing and bringing his work back on the big screen after three decades in partnership with Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox.

"We have been working on this project for years. We finally felt the time was right and the technology is where we need it to be to create this film. I am thrilled we will be partnering with Blue Sky/Fox to create a Peanuts movie that is true to the strip and will continue the legacy in honor of my father."

Steve Martino of Ice Age: Continental Drift will direct "Peanuts." "Charlie Brown is the guy who picks himself up after every fall and tries again. That's what is powerful to me," Martino explained. "These characters are known and loved worldwide, and now we have an opportunity to bring them to a new generation."

Paul Feig, an unlikely addition to the team, whose works are best known in producing Bridesmaids and Freaks and Geeks, claims that he also has his eyes on narratives promises the fans of the worldwide loved character that the film will stay true to the comic strips and TV show.

"Snoopy will not be rapping," he assures. "No one will be twerking, we're in good hands."
