Girl group KARA will be holding a fan meeting as their first official schedule as 3 members.

They will first hold their fan meeting in Seoul on May 24 and in Japan in Budokan on June 1. Their Japan fan meeting will also be to celebrate their  Japan fan club's 3rd anniversary.

This is their first official schedule in 5 months as a new 3 member group.

News of their fan meeting as a 3 member group has gained much attention amongst fans.

KARA has stated that they plan to have a deep talk with their fans at the fan meeting about the recent happenings.

They also made this fan meeting in both Korea and Japan in order to also see and thank their overseas fans for their continuous support.

They have planned many different events and programs for their fan meetings and hopes to have a great time with their fans.

They wanted to show their fans how truly thankful they are for having them always waiting patiently for their return.

KARA originally started off as a quarted and made their debut with "Break It" (2007) while displaying a strong female image and a mature R&B sound. The following year, Kim Sunghee departed the group due to parental pressure, and members Goo Hara and Kang Jiyoung were brought in. Since then, the group produced many hit songs such as "Honey," "Mister," "Lupin," "Jumping," "Step," and "Panorama." The group also became a success in the Japanese market, being dubbed as "Japan's Number 1 Rookie Artist of 2010" by Oricon and receiving numerous awards and scoring multiple number one spots in various charts in Japan.

In 2014, Nicole Jung and Kang Jiyoung chose not to extend their contract as members of KARA with its management company, DSP Media, leaving KARA as a three-member group.
