EXO Wow Fans At Seoul's Jamsil Arena With Comeback Show, 'Overdose' Video

The 8,000 fans packed into the Jamsil Arena in Seoul, South Korea on Tuesday night for the much-anticipated EXO Comeback Show, got a lot more than your average pop concert.

Not only did the group run through their arsenal of chart-topping hits like "Wolf," "History" and "Growl," they also premiered the music video for their music video for their new single "Overdose" and spoke to crowd in an extended question and answer session.

The group was candid in their recollections of preparing for their newest promotional blitz, according to eNEWS reporter Kwon Soo Bin, reportedly in attendance.

"We practiced a lot in order to show new sides of us," EXO singer Baekhyun said.

"There is this one part where [fellow EXO member] D.O. has to lie down and the other members have to go on top of him to make a formation. I remember struggling to get the formation right."

Yet he added that EXO's dance performance quickly improved as they worked it out in rehearsal.

"I feel like our teamwork got better as we tried to get the right formation," Baekhyun said.

EXO vocalist Chanyeol, himself a member of Exo-K, discussed the way both subdivisions of EXO, Exo-K and Exo-M, were integrated in the "Overdose" music video.

"When we filmed the music video, it was shot in one take," he said. "When Exo-K was dancing, Exo-M had to run around to avoid being filmed, so it was fun."

The EXO Comeback Show was timed to coincide with the group's first release of 2014, the six-song EP "Overdose."

Band member Suho explained the meaning behind the title track to the crowd.

"It's an urban R&B dance song that expresses the heart of a man who has fallen deeply in love, as if he got overdosed with sweet medicine," he said.
