Transformers 4 Star Mark Wahlberg Will Be Back For Another ‘Ted’ Movie; The Foul-Mouthed Drunkard Teddy Bear Is Back On Summer Next Year

The foul-mouthed, drunkard teddy bear is coming back to the big screen on June 26, 2015 together with "Transformers 4" star Mark Wahlberg and well no, no more Mila Kunis as she will be replaced by 'Les Miserables' star Amanda Seyfried for the lead female role.

The famous "Family Guy" creator also returns as the writer, producer, director and the voice of Ted in Universal and Media Rights Capital's sequel to the highest grossing R-rated comedy film, which grossed over $500 million worldwide.

MacFarlane will reunite with fellow TED writers Alec Sulkin & Wellesley Wild, which will be co-produced by Bluegrass Film's Scott Stuber, John Jacobs and Jason Clark.

Universal Pictures CEO Steve Burke admitted back in September 2012: "We'd like to see a Ted 2 as soon as we can."

Now, it's most probably that TED will start production early this year as "Transformers 4" star Mark Wahlberg previously told Collider.com that "We're shooting Transformers in May (2013), and then I believe we're gonna do Ted 2 right after. They're working on it now and we've kind of gone through the negotiation process."

Transformers 4 star Wahlberg was also vocal in praising MacFarlane's writing skills as he continued saying: "The great thing about it is Seth's ideas for the second one are sick. He comes from the world of episodic television so he knows how to tell the stories, man, in a way that most people don't. Like for instance The Italian Job, we've been trying to do the sequel for 10 years. He's a different kind of guy."

Meanwhile, Mark Wahlberg upcoming film Transformers 4: Age Of Extinction is scheduled to hit theaters this June 27, and according to the very busy star, the latest installment to the giant robot film is going to be very different from its prequels.

"It was a tighter script, and its own stand-alone thing. I think the emotional core of it, the human element, is going to be extremely powerful," Wahlberg revealed. "It's an ordinary man trying to do extraordinary things to save his daughter and keep her alive-and this boyfriend he didn't know anything about. He'd had a child when he was in high school and his wife passed away, and the promise he'd made to her was that she wouldn't date any boys until she graduated and that she'd be at the graduation-because we weren't due to the pregnancy. So there's an anchor to it and a realness to it that I like a lot."

This would certainly be something different from Shia LaBeouf's role on the previous "Transformers" movies. For one, Wahlber's role is more tensed and more mature as compared to Shia being "Sam Witwicky" on the previous films.

On how "extremely powerful" Transformers 4 is about to be, that remains to be seen though.

Wahlberg, who plays the role of Cade Yeager, an inventor who accidentally discovers a supposed "extinct" giant robot, kicks off the story of the new film. The 42-year old actor and producer will play the father of Tessa Yeager who is portrayed by "The Last Airbender" actress Nicola Peltz. In addition, Jack Reynor plays Tessa Yeager's secret love interest.

Jack Reynor also claims that the movie will be having some major "explosions" going on, saying:

"There's a lot of explosions all day long. A lot of loud noises. A lot of running," the 21-year old actor revealed.

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction will feature actors Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, and T.J. Miller. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on June 27, 2014.
