Actress Song Ji Hyo has been receiving much attention in China.

Due to her appearances and roles in SBS "Running Man" and tvN drama "Emergency Couple," she has been receiving a great amount of support in Taiwan, Hong Kong and many parts of China.

It began with "Running Man" as she was the only female member of the show. In 2011, the show was broadcasted in 9 different countries in Asia and expanded her overseas fans.

Recently, she played the female role in the tvN drama, "Emergency Couple" and received much interest. This drama was also sold to 10 different countries due to its extreme popularity.

Her particular role in the drama, which showed an upbeat and confident girl, was a style that many people in China liked to see in a woman.

Song Ji Hyo's agency commented, "She has been receiving many different love calls from China. She even received a request to hold a fan meeting."

Due to the variety of roles she has played throughout her acting career, her older traditional style of dramas have been brought back out as many fans in China continue to find other productions that she has done.
