As "The Legend of Korra" fans continue to way for any news on a Book 3 release date, a little celebration is still in order.

On April 14, "The Legend Korra" series celebrated its two-year anniversary, having debuted with Book 1 in 2012. Several fansites, including Avatar the Last Airbender Online and Avatar the Legend of Korra Online commemorated the date with nostalgia and gratitude.

"I remember the massive excitement across the whole fandom, 'Avatar' was back after a long 4 year break. While many fans are not so hot on Korra, I don't think it can be understated how important this show is for our fandom," wrote Morgan Bannon.

"It is one of the best shows on TV right now, so I think today it is important that we celebrate this show, despite the lack of news about Book 3 and some of the negativity around the fandom, today is a big and important milestone for 'The Legend of Korra.'"

Despite being told that Book 3 was "coming soon," a release date for the Nickelodeon series is still uncertain. Currently, the most popular theory is that "Change" will debut in June at the earliest.

"At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Book 3 premiered in September. I also wouldn't be surprised if it premiered in late-June, early July. I know that estimation isn't the least bit helpful, but it'll be difficult to estimate without any indication of marketing," wrote Keval.
